I arrived at Megamall pass 12pm, traffic was so heavy and it was raining so hard and my umbrella was too small for the heavy rain. Anyways, I was not able to eat lunch at home but my friend told me that we'll have lunch. So where we had lunch? Guess! HA! PEPPER LUNCH! There's a lot of branches but since I was in megamall, one of Pepper Lunch's branch is located at Ground Floor, Building A, SM Mega Mall, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City.

Once we got there, the receptionist just handed us a menu book and then pointed us to the counter, coz you need to pay for the meal first before you eat there. So that's what we did, I like the chairs and the black board walls, the table was also a cozy one, coz it had wood colors with a touch of light green and orange which was pretty comfy to eat at. I also like the way the sun hits the inside of the restaurant, very nurturing and relaxing. It was clean, there was a water refilling station. What I didn't like though are the crew members, they were not smiling at all, they just served the orders and then they're done. That's it!

Anyways enough with the setting, let's go with the meal...

Salted Caramel Swirl - P50.00 - This drink was about 22ml in size, it has a coke base and some salted caramel ice cream on top, I can taste the saltiness more rather than a balance salted caramel ice cream, I mean I had way better salted caramel flavored ice cream before and sadly this was not one of them, the one thing I like about it though, you guys know when you order the monster float at McDo or any ice drink from starbucks, there's way more ice that the liquid itself? with Pepper Lunch their drinks were cold and had enough ice, enough for you to enjoy your meal. So that's a major plus at any restaurant or any food establishments for me. (who agrees?! LOL!) And then my friend ordered a regular Sprite - P44.00 - This is unreasonable sprite for 44 bux? NOWAY! That's a thumbs down for me. Sorry guys!

So let's move on with the simple meals we got, me and my friend got the Cheesy Omelette meals, you can have different kinds of sauces which were; Curry Sauce, Brown Creamy Sauce and the Creamy Tomato Sauce. You also have a choice meat that can go with the meal, Beef, Chicken or Hamburg. And all of them comes with Cheesy Omelette and underneath the egg is a regular steamed rice.

He got the Cheesy Omelette with Creamy Brown Sauce with the Hamburg - P390.00 - so basically is two thick burger patties, beef and the egg is huge obviously, and I like the sprinkle of black pepper and I believe these are dried parsley around the omelette (kinda presentable I should say).

I got the Cheesy Omelette with Curry Sauce with Chicken - P420.00 - at first I thought what? Chicken is more expensive than the hamburg? WHY? I really didn't bother since I was so hungry but come to think of it, that's really pricy? and the chicken is small compared to the two hamburg. I tasted the curry sauce I'm not really a fan of japanese curry there's sort of minty flavor that comes with it or perhaps taragon which was not my type. I like the indian curry better. So I switched my sauce to the creamy brown one, it was your typical simmered cooking cream then a mushroom gravy that's it. Nothing really special about it.

The good thing about the menu is the serving, what you see on the pictures are the same as what they will serve you. That's another plus for me. We ordered extra rice obviously coz Big Pinay's gonna EAT! HA! Steamed Rice - P45.00 each. You think it's expensive? AH?! YES! The meal was ok, no doubt about it, but the price? I think its too pricy for me. Serving it on a sizzling plate is really a plus, I like my food served hot and newly cooked.

So hope you learned something from me..and hope you like my review. Have fun everyone! If you have anything you want to share about restos or which restaurant are great to eat at let me know on the comments and I'll try my best to visit them.

Love Lots,

Big Pinay
